opinion on a 2012 x3 35i

Going to check out a 2012 x3 35i 76k msport.
Anything I should be checking?
Also will check out a 2014 x3 35i m sport with 14k Asking $12000 more than the 2012.

are they pretty much the same? I think 35i use the same engine as 335i.
Is the Fuel pump is still issue?

Thank in advance.

Bought wife.com a 2012 X3 xdrive i28. She loves it. (hers is NA N52 6cyl..not the x35 turbo 6 N54). Check out the CPO units available and do as much due diligence on the 2 you are looking at

I have a 2013 x3 35i m sport with 35k and love it. I think one main change from 2012-2014 models is the 2014 has the NBT idrive. Not 100% sure on that but I remember noting that my 2013 just missed it. Not a huge deal imo but the NBT definitely looks better.

You'll see slight differences in the iDrive between the two, the '14 will have the larger iDrive controller with the Touchpad. I had a '12 X3 35i, essentially identical to the '13 I have now. I looked at a '14, it had the Tech package and therefore a slightly nicer display in the lower gauge cluster area, but otherwise, all was the same.

Go with the better buy/better vehicle, don't worry about the actual year.

Most importantly, post links to both so we can all help you compare!

Look for signs of oil leakage around the oil filter housing, the gasket is known to fail on N55s.

But you probably already made your decision...which one did you get?
