Was hoping to look into purchasing remote start soon but wanted to try setting my 2015 X3 to defrost before shutting it off. I was hoping i would restart it and have the defrost on high just like when i shut it off but mine is defaulting to just restarting with lower vent heat settings. Was unable to get my car to restart with defrost on high. Does anyone know if this can be corrected with some coding? I suppose i could remote start my car and leave my settings on high with the vents pointed at the side windows but it would be much more effective to be able to restart with full defrost leaving it outside here in Milwaukee .
