2011 Fuel Door Clunk on unlock

I purchased my 2011 X3 35i used (still under warranty) Ever since the first day having it when ever the car is unlocked you can hear a 'clunk' in the fuel door. I know that there is an actuator in the fuel door that locks and unlocks but it si very audible. I took it in and my SA (which is awesome) said that it was normal. can someone who has a 2011 X3 confirm that this is normal?

TIA

I never heard my fuel door unlock and lock before. I know there is a lock on it. How loud are you talking about?

I can hear mine locking and unlocking. I wouldn't say it's overly loud, but I can hear it when outside of the vehicle (on that side of the car)
