Driver seat too warm

I am not sure if this is normal or not, but I have trouble feeling difference between three heating values on my driver seat. Lowest setting still feels too hot, pretty much like the other two. Ayone experienced this?

I will still have to test the other three for comparison.

That doesn't sound right. The differences with the 3 settings I find are very noticeable with 3 being too hot for more than a few minutes. 1 or 2 are what I use.

+1 doesn't sound right. 3 bars is toasty. 2 bars is warm. 1 bar just about takes the chill off.

I'm with the OP - my first setting is tolerable for 5-10 minutes, then too hot. My second and third settings are like hot coals...which is actually good for a quick warm up in Chicago. Likewise, my steering wheel heater gets too hot after 5 minutes.
Back seat heaters are perfect though.

Anyway, this doesn't bother me, I just turn the heaters off after I get going

On a lot of Fxx chassis cars there's a coding option to set the temperatures for the 3 different settings. There are separate coding options for driver and passenger seats and the temperatures of the seat backrest and cushion can be set independently for each of the 3 settings

As a matter of interest does this apply to rear seats as well?

We have no problem with our seat heating. It works correctly. We always start on 3 bars then select 1 or 2, then select off when cabin temperature reaches our selected level.

There are people on the coding forums who say that it's possible with the rear seats on the F1x and F3x cars - although some people have said that there's only one set of settings for the rear seats so while you can set the three different temperatures for rear cushion and backrest, these temperatures apply to the whole of the rear rather than being independant as are the front seats
