The site didn't have the F25 circuit diagram for F25, they have a lot of technical info for E83. Thanks for the info I was able to download some technical training for F25, I am checking now some old threads from 2011 to present, i see a lot of successful halogen to bi-xenon conversion I just need the wiring info and will be able to finish this project.

Get ISTA/D (aka Rheingold).

Fresh from the boat!

Morning everybody.
Just got my beautiful 2012 X3 3.5 and purchased the ENET cable. An IT professional by trade, I'm dying to get coding. Any chance that I can get what I need to start coding?

Thanks in advance!

Hi Shawn. I'm interested in coding my newly acquired 2016 28I MSport. I read the first instructions by April on what you need and how to set up, but it is 3 years old and I feel that some steps need to be expounded on. Following are my questions:

1. Where do I buy the ENET cable?

2. Where is the OBD connector located in the car?

3. Is there already a Mac version of the needed software (E-sys) and what is the most current software version?

4. Where do I get the psdzdata?

I hope you don't mind me too much asking these fundamental questions. I'm sure they've already been asked before, but the task of combing through 78 pages of the forum is daunting to me. Thanks.

1) Any ENET Cable off eBay or Amazon should work.
2) Driver's side under dash near trunk Release.
3) No. For Mac, must use Bootcamp or Parallels.
4) PM sent.

Success!!!

Coded the TPMS and removed the disclaimers on startup and reverse.
Just only one panic moment when i hit something and it started coding the car...

All is well

the only thing I can say is "READ THE F%^&ING INSTRUCTIONS!!! They are spot on!!!"

Question: what can I use to see fault codes / reset them etc with my existing ENET cable? Some people talks about ISTA?

Thanks

Thanks
Clear Fault Codes:

With E-Sys:

Click "External Applications" in the left menu.
Click "External Application"
Double-click "Transmitter"
Scroll to the bottom and click "14 FF FF FF,31 01 0F 06,31 01 40 00 00,31 01 40 00 05,31 01 40 00 01;Clear all DTCs (clear DTC,clear Infospeicher,ZFS – DM_Lock,clear ZFS – DM_Clear,ZFS – DM_Unlock)"
Click Connect
Click Send

Or with Tool32:

Launch C:\EDIABAS\Bin\TOOL32.EXE
Hit F3
Load C:\EDIABAS\Ecu\F01.PRG
In the "Select Job: F01" window, select FS_LOESCHEN_FUNKTIONAL
Hit F5
"Results" window should show "JOB_STATUS = OKAY"

Note: fs_lesen_funktional only read fault codes, FS_LOESCHEN_FUNKTIONAL will delete it.
