Web Site That Details Options On Car

Hi all,

I am new to the 2nd generation X3. It may sound kind of odd but I recently bought 2 X3's, one is a 2011 and the other is a 2012. Obviously both were used although the 2012 is a CPO car and both are 35i's. The 2011 has the M-Sport option with 32K mikes and the 2012 doesn't have the M-Sport option and has 21K miles. Both cars are well equipped and clean. Interestingly the 2011 was manufactured in 9/2011 and the 2012 was manufactured in 10/2011. I guess a month equals a year in this case :-)

My question is this: I don't have the sticker for either car and I would love to know exactly what options each car has so is there a web site that can give me this data or do I need to go to the dealer.

BTW, I am not new to the X3 my wife has had a 2007 for the past 4+ years and driven it roughly 100K miles. Also, my college age daughter has a 2004 X3 (2.5) that she has been driving for almost 6 years now. Both of these have been great cars. We also have 2 MINI Clubman's, one is a JCW and the other is an S. I guess its fair to assume that I both like BMW products and suffer from a mild case of OCD :-)

Thanks

Type in the last 7 digits of your VIN and it should give you a break down of what equipment you have on your car.

You can also try http://bmwvin.com/ it seems to be most reliable one I have found. You need to register, but it's not a big deal. Also allows you to get it in PDF format.
