Clunking noise from front wheels/brakes/steering (on reverse)

I did notice that the front (right?) wheel does "Clunk" sometimes when I reverse out of my drive.

The best way to reproduce is to reverse with full lock, keep reversing slowly and straighten the wheel, then dab the brake slightly. It feels like the caliper is loose and you get a slight shudder.
I did not talk with the dealer yet
Are you thinking that is it a normal behaviour of the 8 speed automatic transmission or the steering?

Regards.

I agree. You can find a lot of posts on this issue. Anyway, Most X3s does the same clunk. It is probably the brake pads. I asked the dealer and he agreed . I did not take any action though because it's been doing the same for 25,000 kms now and only sometimes and always when reversing. Personally I don't think replacing anything from the brakes (discs, pads calipers ...) will solve it as it is a design issue I believe. By the way, as the pads worn out I slightly feel that it is not doing the clunk as often as before.

Actually I did search, however i couldn'nt succeed finding related posts. Thanks for replies. I assume that it was a normal behaviour of the car while reversing.

(Ural Bey size de teşekkürler. Bu araçtan İstanbul da çok fazla yok. Beyaz bir X3 le İstinye park çıkışında karşılaşmıştım. Belk sizin aracınızdı. Benim araçta beyaz bu arada)
