Question Heated steering wheel control

Where is the button controlling the heated steering wheel? I have not been able to find it in pictures and no X3 has yet arrived here . I hope I'll be able to test drive one soon, since I ordered one sight unseen.
Thank you!

It's on the steering column on the left side. It is a small button/toggle that you have to find by "feel".

Thank you! I would have liked the same location as the X5/X6 but I guess since the wheel with controls is optional, they had to locate a common point. Hopefully it'll be easy to turn on: I'll need it about 6 months of every year.

Unhappy Heated Wheel Button

Sounds like the same deal as my 335's heated wheel control. Not nearly as good a location as on the old X3, in fact you can's see if it is on without hanging over the side of the wheel. NSG.

..or you can just touch the wheel (it's worthwhile thing to do sometimes) and understand it.
