Help identifying a control arm part on a 2011 X3
This is the driver's side, looking from behind towards the front of the vehicle.
There's this tube attached to the control arm that looks like it should connect to something, but is just hanging there. Any ideas what it is? Thanks in advance. |

That lookalike more like a hose that came off something (or not) as oppose to any parts on the linked pictogram.

Yes, yours look exactly like #2, his not so much (attach directly to the bushing, must be a different years) but you are right has it look rip from whatever connected it to the switch, #1

I thought the same at first, and also that it looked like a hose. But it's the angle the picture was taken from, petty sure it connects to the arm an inch or two from the bushing. Have another look with that in mind. And it's probably hollow and light weight, making it look like a hose.
