X3 LCI Kidney Grille

I am thinking to replace my kidney grille, but I need some ideas from you guys, what would look better for my car (picture attached), black, or as is? Anyone with photoshop skills willing to help and "blacken" my grille?

Also, are they easy to swap?

nvmd the wheels, those are for the winter.

I like it all blacked out….IMO, i would go with gloss black as I think it all ties together. The kidneys are not hard to change, several threads on how to do it…I can’t really recall how i did mine, but i know i used an SS hook or trim tool to get at a couple of the clips…once you have a couple of them undone it’s pretty east to do the truest. And once you have one grille out, its easier to reach over to the next one.

I like it as is. The silver ties in with the silver headlights. Blacked out makes it look like the designer went to lunch and never came back, leaving a giant unfinished black hole in the front of the vehicle. Besides, the blackout look is so last decade

You might be right, I think I'll just leave them as they are. What about those grey ones, that come with the X-Line package?

I think it was a joke. Your photo is upside-down.

My only comment with this, is that I also just got new black grills. I did it because with the whole lower grill area being black, the kidney's sort of seemed out of place. I went with a gloss black grill and in many ways it tied the whole front end together. One thing i didn't anticipate with the gloss black, is that it made the lower grill seem to be always dirty. I do sort of like how the kidney's do still stand out a slight amount compared to the rest, but I also do wish the lower grills didn't look off now. Maybe consider a matt black grill if you do go black
