New Respect for the X4M40i

I just got back from BMW UDE event and test drove the X4M40i (what a name). This car surprised me in a good way. It looks fat and slow from the outside, but wow, once you step that throttle in sport mode: Total Adrenaline.

The N55 engine with even the stock exhaust was just a great great music to my ear. No wonder it starts just under 60k. Totally a sleeper car. More respect to this car now.

Those who own it or test-drive it know how much of a sleeper it is.

Still waiting on mine too, I went with a Dark Graphite Metallic with an Ivory white, red stitching interior.

Just kidding, but I much prefer the orange signal lights you get in Europe to the Red ones used here in USA.
On my late 2007 US Spec E60 I installed the Europe LTI tail lights and loved the novelty.

Still 2-3yrs left for the X4 chassis replacement, the only replacement coming is G platform X3 in 2018 as M40i model.

This is in the pipeline thread. That'd be next year wouldn't it? In 2018 as 2019.
