i really dont understand why they cant just let things that customers like STAY on the f*****g car. this concept is beautiful imo, and i know that theyre going to soften it come production time. i understand that maybe leaving some parts to the m version but the headlights make a huge statement and of course theyre just going to take them out for no reason. hate that, but still really nice looking car.

Regardless of how people feel about X model BMWs, you have to admit the X4's front end is gorgeous.
My guess is it will only have 2 two back seats since there's no middle headrest. It's possible that they'll give an option for a 3rd seat but it's already a semi-tight fit for 3 adults in the X3. |

I am sold. I'll trading in the '11 F25 X3 for this when it's launched in Australia. Has got the road presence and technically superior to the X6. Bring it on. X4 and M3 should complement each other in the stable.

Hope that back window gives better visibility than that on the Evoque.
Interestingly, had been seriously looking forward to the Evoque when it came out, but was disappointed overall and chose instead to get a loaded X3 35i mSport for less money! Will definitely be tempted by this new X4 when the X3 is being replaced. |

I have a strong sense of feeling that the starting price of the x4 will be somewhere around 43k

hopefully even if the interior is the same as the X3 we will at least get Nappa/Novillo leather as an option since the price will be close to an X5.
some nice soft leather would make the interior look much more upscale. I also have hopes the interior will be a little different as the X3 is do for an LCI next year which is the same time this will come out. |

Were the tumbling models supposed to represent the potential buyers for this car?

Looks good. Just two things:
I hope somehow it magically handles better than the X3 and BMW needs to figure out if the hood ends at the kidney grills or some place aft of it - very incoherent design language. |

The Macan looks like a Nissan Juke that was in an accident and in the process of repairing it, they stretched it out to be longer than it originally was.

Now for the X4, to me the exterior of the concept so far looks great. The interior will probably mimic the X3 with an updated Idrive. I hope I'm wrong and they change the interior with a floating like screen with recent BMW interior design to differentiate, probably not. As for driving dynamics, a good sample is to drive an X3. It has great reviews all around and having driven it. I like it but was looking something that is the X4 in exterior design, Range Rover Evoque-like Primarily, I'm attracted to the design of this SAC. I'll give up a little practically for looks, coming from a Z4 owner that's really telling, lol. I think the X4 will stack up pretty well with the Porsche Macan. The looks will be one of the main factor for those buyers in this segment. Pricing too, of course, with Porsche when option decently will probably will be higher than the same options as the BMW. Can't wait to see both next year. I'm very much leaning of the X4 and there' some biased in this. I think both will be quality cars. |
