Canadian X3 Xenon Light

Hi X3er, my 2013 X3 35i was on order, just wondering if other Canadian X3s has Head Light Washer or HOW to order one ? It is misleading as according to the Sales Catalog, it is included with Xenon but the Car at showroom has none

I hope this is not another BMW cost cut !

Must be included with xenons. in europian it is so. Otherwise night driving may be dangerous

My Canadian car has Xenon with no washer... It's not even an option.

For 2011 X3 models in US, front Xenon washers were included in X-line package.

Canada does not get headlight washers. I questioned that when I bought my 2012.

Thank You for all your reply,, the Headlight Washer was a very usefully function based on my experience during Winter time (Salt + Snow) with other cars.. Can't understand why BMW Canada not include this as STANDARD !!!

Anyway, X3 is too good to skip

We don't get diesel engines either... Who knows how BMW determines what features are available where.

I don't understand why there are no washers in Canada, but also unsuccessfully looked for Running Boards. They were on the outgoing models.

I noticed that it's not on the new 3 series also. Not sure if that's specific to Canadian models also.

I asked one of the advisors and they mentioned that most people were complaining that it was wasting too much washer fluid. Not sure if that had an impact on their decision or not.

I do wish the headlight washer would only activate after activating the windshield washer a few times. That could've helped.
