Possible Widest aggressive wheel and tire for F25?
Hello everyone!
I am trying to figure out what’s the widest square set I can go on a 2012 BMW X3 with stock 245/50/18x8 ET43. I’m thinking 275/40/19x9.5 ET35? Will that flush the wheel and tire with the fender? How about a staggered set? 255/35/20x9 front and 295/30/20x10.5 rear? What offset to use for them to flush out? Thanks in advance for the help! |

For 20x9, I'd say around -20 offset, in the front. For the rear, probably -18. That's guesswork with online tire and wheel calculators. Look around, I'm pretty sure I've seen guys post up similar fitments. Maybe one of the X4 guys, IIRC. You could probably shop for wheels with more offset than that and use spacers as needed to tune fitment. I suspect 275/35/20 and 315/30/20 would work if you didn't mind uberflush or a little poke, maybe with mild occassional rubbing at steering and suspension extremes.
