Lightbulb X3 window tinting Australia

Ive heard of people having issues with window tinting on BMW in regards to the absence of felt pads.

Is this still the case? Would it be better than for the dealers contracter motor one to do it, as they would know more about sanding, and installing felt pads to the internal blades than say tintacar?

Or has this problem been rectified in the newer revisions?

Where did you guys get your tinting done, in Australia that is.

I had my X3 tinted by a after market tint shop. I don't have any issues. Front windows 35 and the rear windows at 25. Looks great.

i had bmw melbourne do the tinting as i wanted the uv protection (which privacy glass does not have) and the job was excellent (although expensive at $840). motor one did it for bmw and it is very effective on a hot day in reducing heat in the car. expensive but very good.
