Poorboys Sealant with Carnuba x 1

then waited a few days and

Poorboys Sealant with Carnuba x 1

Nope. Don't think it'll have a hope in hell of turning my MS into a CB mirror!
Seriously though, very nice. Good job!

Isn't that a lot of waste? After the first coat of sealant and wax, you're trying to get more coats of sealant to bond onto the wax?.. I think it would have looked the same after the first coat. Would have made more sense to do a few coats of sealant then throw wax on top of it. Not trying to be negative, it definitely reflects like a mofo!

Looks great, but I'm with Sard. Your sealant is made to bond with the paint. I usually go in this order, glaze, sealant, wax, and then beer. Again looks great.

Looks great! Carbon Black is an amazing color, depending on how light hits it can be both blue and black. Protect it well.

Like others said your canruba wax is the Last Step Process (LSP), do not layer it with other product types (ie sealants). Nothing bonds with canruba as it is too soft and degrades fast. As it degrades the layers sitting on top will come off also.

I have owned a Carbon Black for the last 6 years and protected it with different products. If you want to make the blue "pop out" you can do P21s or Swisswax as far as canrubas or if you want lasting durability do 3 coats Zaino Z5pro or Optimum OptiCoat 2.0.

Here is a pic of Z5pro on CB taken 4-5 months after application.
Cheers,
.Mdrei

I'm with Sard on this one. Detailed weeks before and then touch up with the Pinnacle wax!
