2013 BMW X3 F25 - ghost error codes that can't be deleted with the OBD2 scanner

My project car is a 2013 BMW X3 F24.

I see a lot of ghost error codes, and tried to delete it with my iCarly OBD2 scanner, but seems they never really gone.

A lot of those codes don't show up in the Foxwell NT510 scanner at all. FYI..

Any idea..

Those codes are like:
8020E8 Rest or deactivation of terminal 30F

8020E7 Terminal 30B active achieved ....

002040 PDC: reset due to watchdog timelout

002031 VSM:event vehiclestate

93076A Deactivation of terminal 15: upper strartability limit reached, but deactivation preventer active

801C20

and so on..

I thought it might be caused by a drained battery, as each time I pushed on the Start button, it says 'battery discharged, start the engine and drive a longer distance ....'. I am still working on this car, so the battery is a new one, and I haven't got a chance to really drive the car for a longer distance yet.

I have not had great success with iCarly. I went to bimmercode and bimmerlink as they provide a more specific product. I have found that iCarly comes up with some weird codes now and again. I also use ISTA+ as it will tell all

A weak battery is known to cause havoc on modern BMW's so that would be a good start.

Get a battery tender so it does not get that dead and try again. I also recommend Bimmerlink. But I have a few random codes on my 650 that never clear. It run fine so I don't worry about them.

Yeah, that's a good idea.

Just ordered one on Amazon, will plug it to the battery and keep it charged.
