Getting really close now!
First off - greetings!
Been browsing the site for awhile and just ordered my X3 about 3 weeks ago. My dealer sent me this pic today. Should be able to pick it up tomorrow. |

Now that's a fully loaded order. Nice.

Very nice, sounds like you have all the options. Please post some PIC's after you take delivery. I ejoy seeing the Oyster interior since that is what I have ordered. Enjoy!

Very nice, good luck with your car mate!
lol, how close is a subjective matter, the 3 weeks of wait you had there would be already extremly close for us europeans who are waiting for months :-) |

Will definately post pics when I get her home. I was a little reluctant on the Oyster interior for fear of being able to keep it clean but I really like the way it looks. Some encouraging remarks from others on this forum combined with the fact that I will be the sole occupant 90% of time convinced me that it would be OK. I'm pretty fastidious about keeping my stuff clean. |

I hear you on the wait. Lucky for me, these are built right up the road from me so the transport time is just a few hours. I guess I got pretty lucky on the build slot too because mine went to production less than a week after I placed the order.

You should be doing the performance center delivery since you are so close! What a blast it would be!

You're right - it would be. Trust me, I tried but my schedule just didn't allow it on the day they assigned me. Evidently they stay pretty booked up so they're very inflexible on scheduling. Either you can do it on the date they come up with or you can't is pretty much what I was told. I didn't know this until I complained a little on not being to go but they said that anyone can schedule a factory tour at any time. You just have to pay a few dollars but that way I could take my wife and 2 kids along as well. I'll still be missing out on the driving course though.
