Can you change the center caps to BMW? That's the only change I'd make.

I have an E83 X3 and lowered it on H&R sport springs. It made a world of difference with the handling. It doesn't look as low as your photoshop guesstimate pic, but still closed about 1.5" of rake.

The MRR ones were really tight. The BMW ones were loose so I used a heat gun to warm them enough to bend every other prong outward. They snapped in tight and have not fallen out.

I think they look great. JM2C. Does it handle measurably better, with less sidewall flex?

I kept the same ratio side wall as OEM but went up a size to 20". I figured I wanted extra cushion and to fill the gap. The run flats are stiff as heck and I could take corners with no problem, but these all seasons in no way compare to the stiffness of run flats. The only tires that I have seen meet cornering have been drag radials like the BFgoodrich KDW . Or really any extreme summer tire that has extra reinforcement for high speeds .
My review of the scorpion tires now that it has been a year: wear on all tires seem good or non existent. Tire noise is very low, so basically quiet. Only one road where the pavement makes weird squeaky noises. Probably from all the gripping surface of the tire.
Wet traction is great. I feel very safe.
Turns and corners are little more soft than I would like it to be. I have learned to take them slightly slower than my e92. I also always drive in sport mode with stiffer steering and suspension. On regular mode I fell like the SUV is too loose and non responsive. ( any tire)

I really do not pay much attention to gas mileage. In theory thinner tires have less rolling resistance and a wear rating of 500+ means less sticky compound, would yield overall better mpg with all Driving habits the same.

For me, I tend to floor it most of the time. I have a short drive to work and there is a limited amount of fun time.

Looks great! I actually just picked up a set of 20" wheels as well, and I changed up the tire sizes just a bit...

20 x 8.5" ET 33 front
20 x 9" ET 44 rear (will need a spacer as well)

255/40-20 tires... Michelin Pilot Super Sports...
