Help me with potential purchase
Been looking for a pre-owned X3 for a month or two. Only looking at 2013 or newer as I think reliability has improved in the last few years. Really like the space gray and sparkling bronze look. I found the vehicle below. Pricing is consistent with KBB but want to make sure I'm not missing anything. They are trying to bring the vehicle to my local bmw dealership so I can drive and see in person. Obviously will not consider without seeing first hand. But on paper, how does it look?
I was hoping for an M sport package but definitely not a requirement. With only having the Premium and Cold Weather packages, it's somewhat basic, but still a great vehicle. Appreciate people's input as this would be my first bmw purchase. 2013 BMW X3 xDrive28i - $34,500 Sparkling Bronze, Oyster Nevada Leather, Fineline Wave Wood Trim Mileage: 30,410 CPO Premium Package, Cold Weather Package I and II |

It looks very basic! Looks like it won't have the Xenon headlights either. On the 28i you have to pay for them separately as an upgrade. That alone would make it a deal breaker for me. Have you test drove the 35i for comparison?

You'll find- particularly in the user market- that the basis between 35i and 28i gets soaked up by the differential in standard vs. optional equipment. |

Dealership seems pressed to sell. Considering offering $29.5. I read some of the threads on CPO pricing. Seems like mixed opinions on whether or not they are less willing to negotiate on CPO models (vs. new).

Its pretty tough to knock off $4500 off a used car, in a new car, it is possible. If they have to bring the car in from another location, it will cost them money and they will pass that cost to you. I am thinking maybe $2000 off will be the best you are able to do. Again, I it all depends on what the dealer pay for the car, they usually want at least $3000 profit on a used car.
