F25 28d ECU to engine harness routing

While changing oil, I noticed that ECU wiring on my F25 28d appears to be routed incorrectly.
It is twisted and rubbing against airbox

I currently trying to make BMW fix this.
My SA was surprised to see this.
He said that it probably came like that from the factory.

To fix this, SA said that connector pins would need to be removed first, untwist harness and re-assemble.

However, the bigger question is this is by design or I just got "lucky"
Can someone please take a picture of yours an post it here for reference?

I went and checked just for you. I don't think your routing is correct, because it shouldn't be putting pressure on the airbox and rubbing it like that.

Wouldn't hurt if others chimed in.

andreigbs - THANK YOU!
Your picture was extremely helpful.

The wiring loop issue got addressed after multiple conversations with dealer, followed by escalation to BMW Customer Relations.

I removed air box to verify harness routing (after "completed repair").
The mechanic managed to lay out harness such as it still rubs against the air box.

I corrected harness routing using your picture as reference
