Took delivery of 2.8i but one significant problem
We finally got our Alpine White 2.8i on Saturday. Will post some pictures later this week. Absolutely love the vehicle.
One significant problem came up with our delivery. I wanted the "pet barrier" or AKA "Net Partition" that has been seen on many models. The dealer could not confirm it as standard feature when we placed the order but indicated that it was likely an option NOT posted yet by BMW Canada. Now that we got the vehicle you can clearly see that there is NO grommets or clips in the roolf liner to hold the net partition. We are really dissapointed that BMW does not appear to think that Canadians have dogs like Americans or Europeans. Any comments?

That’s a big oversight.
I can’t understand why it’s available in the US and not in Canada unless there is some government red-tape for some sort of safety clearance. |

See link showing picture and parts listings with part numbers (possibly ok for retro-fit as it shows roof clips at bottom?) http://www.realoem.com/bmw/showparts...03&hg=51&fg=60
