Servotronic Sport (DHP USA) - Heavier Steering?
Is the variable sports steering heavier at low speeds than the base car (with servotronic in the USA)? I assume this replaces servotronic?

VSS includes servo. In the UK you can spec VSS which adds servo as well (you can't have VSS without servo). VSS is control of the feel of the steering from Normal (light) to Sport+ (tight). The servo aspect is what makes steering easier at low speeds, which will make it lighter, not heavier than the base car

hmm I guess then my question is what do they mean the base X3 is on "normal" servo mode and the DHP servo is on "sport" mode

Servo in sport mode must make it tighter but the whole notion of Normal/Sport for servo seems to make VSS redundant. Perhaps VSS gives the driver the ability to change modes whereas servo is static and always on Normal or always on Sport?
