2013 BMW X3 F25 Side mirror tilt on reverse gear

Is it possible to code passenger side mirror tilt on reverse gear using bimmercode? Please note that the side mirrors are not foldable.

The mirror tilt in reverse feature is activated/deactivated by the switch on the driver’s door that controls which side mirror you want to adjust.

You don’t need folding mirrors for this feature since it is the mirror glass that moves, not the entire mirror assembly.

Are you saying that you do NOT have the switch in the module on the driver’s door to control the passenger mirror? If you don’t then…that means there’s no electrical connection or motor in the passenger mirror to be able to CODE the mirror to tilt.

Every BMW I’ve owned going back to my 1985 e30 325e has had the passenger mirror tilt-in-reverse feature…and the instruction for activation/deactivation has always been the same:

E30/E32/E34 mirror tilt-in -reverse instructions:

E38/E39 instructions:

E53 instructions:

F06/F15 instructions:

I do have power mirrors but not power folding. I have tried putting the switch on the drivers side but still the mirror will not tilt. I have enabled the feature using bimmercode but still no luck.

Since you have Bimmercode...make sure you have the correct selection for mirror-tilt-in-reverse selected.
