I received an email from BMW Toronto (CANADA) written by a BMW Toronto advisor that his pre-owned sales manager wants to buy my BMW x3 2017 (N20).

Anyone else receive an email like this?

I confirmed the authenticity of the email.

I just find it strange this BMW dealership wants to buy our X3 with more than 100,000 miles on the dash...

Apparently I will receive loyalty incentives and such.

I spoke to my dad about this and he laughed... he didn't seem to care or take it serious.

I just want to know if anyone else received an email or letter from a BMW dealership anywhere else in the world wanting to buy your BMW from you.

Perhaps I should consider trading in for a BMW X3 M Competition

Extremely common dealership marketing strategy. Whether they actually want to buy it or not is another thing, they just want you to shop the idea of getting a new car in your head and then show up so they can actually maybe sell you something.

As long as your aware of that then it is what it is, but I think you should get an X3M comp anyway

I used to get emails telling me "Our team has been studying your file and we have figured out a way" to get into a new BMW. I got 5 or 6 of these, which made me laugh out loud, and I finally responded to let them know how much their sophomoric marketing made me laugh, and I said "Let me guess, 'the way' your team has figured out is to sell me a car." They took me off the mailing list.

This is very a common tactic to get you into the dealer to up sell you into a new or newer vehicle. But with a username of slowblackx3f25, you should take them up on their X3 M offer

yes!!! I agree, the X3M is night and day difference between a regular non-M X3

I would not mod the X3 I'm currently driving. I will upgrade the charge pipe to the VRSF charge pipe as the stock pipe is known to fail..

The X3 M Comp puts out amazing power.....

I watch these youtube videos before I fall asleep... with the help of my subconscious mind (AND MY FINANCES), I can buy it
