Head Unit Failure
Has anyone had a full head unit failure?
My sat nav has been getting sluggish for ages, taking seconds to respond to certain interactions. This weekend the unit became progressively unresponsive. The screen kept going black and then coming back on and going off repeatedly ... but not full recycle. Then none of the features worked. Then it went completely dead. No parking sensors, nothing. Then the HUD died. I took the car in and they thought they would have to replace the head unit. They have re-programmed the head unit, and apparently its working again ...

Just after we got our the system appeared to have reset itself - we lost the DAB radio -was not on the menu. It was booked in by the day before it went it all came back! - some sort of reset I guess - and has been 100% fine ever since.
At least I now have the instructions as to how to do a manual reset...
