Took home Sparkling Bronze today

After ordering on February 26, we finally picked up our X3 28i. It rained soon after so I took some pictures in the garage. Sparkling Broze is extremely difficult to capture accurately. I had to play with the settings on the camera for some time before I managed some shots that came close (and this still doesn't reproduce its subtlety). It varies from an almost medium brown with purple/blue/green metalflake in full sun to a darkish brown in overcast conditions. It is a very rich and in my opinion is a fantastic color. No regrets!

The sand beige interior is perfect. We like lighter/brighter interiors and this is such a relief from our black leatherette 2008 328i. Love, love, love the sport seats!

The Fineline Wave wood is amazing. Personally I think it blows away the other choices. It acutally glows in the right light!

Other than a few challenges figuring out some things in iDrive we are very satisfied and extremely please with the choices we made with our order.

Congrats, looks great, that is a great interior choice for the bronze too imo.
I should have mine in a week or two as well.
Enjoy!

Congrats! I just picked up the same color combo on Wednesday at the Performance Center. I couldn't be happier with the choice.

I usually go with blue but was in the mood for a change. I think the Sparkling Bronze over Beige looks very elegant. I'll get flamed for this, but I have to say Martha Stewart had a great eye when picking this combination, too. (I picked the colors before the Martha promo - just for the record.)

Congrats! very nice color combo indeed. I envy your sports seats & steering wheel! No option for this for my 28i at time of order (late January).

We tend to prefer the more unique colors (ie our 2008 328i is Barbera Red) and Sparkling Bronze is a winner. We also knew we were getting Sand Beige again, we had it in our 2006 325i. So apparently we and Martha have the same tastes. Oh well...

Leather but I'm indifferent to leather or leatherette. Options are:

- Heated front seats/steering wheel
- Premium Package
- Convenience Package
- Sport Actvity Package

Also love the looks of the cup holder inserts! Did you add them or did they come with your delivery?

I have the exact same interior (sports activity package, sand beige leather, wave wood trim) in my X3 (a black sapphire 35i just picked up two days ago). It also came equipped with the chrome cup holder inserts.

This sparkling bronze X3 is very nice, indeed.

WeatherTech Floor Liners arrived today. Nice quality and fit well. I don't get the holes in the driver's mat. BMWs don't use hooks to keep the mats in place...

Wow that is a very nice and well fitted floor liner. Much better than the BMW rubber mats I think. I prefer carpet, but for winter...

there was also a "Tan" color that went perfect with your interior color. Why didn't you go for that???

Question here: how come the leather around the glove box is also beige in your X3. I thought no matter what interior color you order, it is alway black.

I like your better. Mine has oyster color interior. I just wish it will also has the same color around the glove box, but apparently not..
