Another angle of the rear wheel. Fits within fender. Could probably have gone slightly more aggressive again on the rear offset for even more concavity. Custom forged rims which you can get made to your desired specification.

Its the exact same setup I am running on my x3, love it. Only thing I wish I could've done different was 255 on the front and 295 for the rear tires. You get more full tires sidewall and probably less likely to scratch the edge of the rims, and it looks wider.

Can't wait to see your future upgrades, especially the quad tip exhaust. Custom X3M for sure!

Looking good! I'm surprised the are upgrades for more speed from a few tuners but nothing out there for better braking!! A decent 6 pot set up would be good.

I've been talking with Ceika Performance. Cedric, the founder is a really nice and helpful guy. They are working on a compatible rear e-brake solution for their BBK. Hopefully they will have it ready in the next few months and I can post some more pictures with an 8 pot front and 6 pot rear BBK installed. The OEM brakes look really small now.

Your rear rims have six spokes and your front rims have five. What's that about?

Where did you get this? I can see it. You are probably fooled by the deep concave on the rears...

Sort of related subject...
What can you guys tell me about my "idea" of going the opposite as far as wheel size.. my M package X3 came with 19s... but I am not a huge fan of low profiles, hence thinking when my first tire change comes about (only have 3000 miles on the vehicle) to go to 18s. Just a thought

Wow, that looks great!

I'd love to hear the exhaust. Can you post a video clip on youtube?

Was cutting the plastic bumper cover (to fit the exhaust) difficult?

Can you explain how the performance mods feel ... "seat of the pants"

The best way to describe the exhaust would be deep as compared to loud. Standing outside the car on start up and idle it has a much deeper note. I personally thought oem sounded a little bit whiny. Under load at high revs foot to the floor with the windows closed the exhaust is still barely noticeable and there is no increased cabin vibration to complain about. With the windows open you can definitely hear it is much deeper and quite a bit louder than oem. Particularly sounds good through some of the long tunnels we have here in Tokyo. Glad i didn't get the race muffler which might have been too loud. Will try and hook up a camera to the bumper and take a video. I'd recommend a pro to cut the bumper unless you are particularly handy with the angle grinder. Also need to cut out the oem muffler as it is one piece.

The Hartge has completely changed how the car feels when you push it. Driving sedately and not in sport mode it feels about the same. Where it comes alive though is when you give it full throttle in sport mode. I haven't got a gauge to properly measure but it feels a lot quicker from a standing start to 100. It never felt slow to me stock but now it feels quick. In fact it feels very quick right from low in the rev range and particularly for such a big vehicle. Floor it when you are traveling at say 60km/h and there is a massive push you in the seat burst of power to 120km/h. I haven't had a big enough stretch of road yet to test past that speed but it had lot of power left on tap.

I'd definitely recommend the Hartge and Supersprint combination.

I wonder how the Hartge ECU box compares to the Burger one.

The Supersprint exhaust looks amazing but extremely expensive. I'd love a dual version for a bit less cost.

I expect that they both work by increasing boost and fuelling. From my research the Hartge whilst the most expensive makes use of the highest number of engine sensors of any of the ECUs on the market. See attached installation instructions.

Agree that the Supersprint is expensive for an exhaust. Perhaps you could get a shop to fit a custom exhaust for less dollars.
