2013 35i AWD - brakes and drivers door lock issue

Two issues: I am ordering front pads, rotors and sensors so my buddy can replace everything for me. The stock rotors are solid, not slotted nor cross drilled. It is still possible to buy slotted or cross drilled for these without any kind of upgrade, direct bolt so I can improve cooling?

Second item: it has comfort access. We have only had this X3 for a few months and has 97k miles. I just noticed after I lock it, if I dont have my keys with me I can still open the drivers door but it sets off the alarm. If I have my keys, then clearly it opens without the alarm going off. Passenger side works fine, cant open unless keys are on me close to the car. This is an odd one and I dont have any codes or errors and the Carfax doesnt indicate any accidents. Not that its 100% but my first thought would normally be a door mechanism replaced after an accident. Any ideas?

Thank you
