Exclamation Should I or Should I not?

I am in the process of making a deal with a local dealer for a 2007 X3 M sport for a price below KBB. It fits in my budget and I have drove and seen the car already. The issue is with the miles that car has. It is with approx 97K miles in less than 4 years of its life. So in other words its double the average car run of 12k/yr. Thats my only concern for making a deal this coming Friday. It has just had one owner all this time. The car looks real good inside out except the miles. I Have shown it to a local mechanic here and to him it looks fine (but he ain`t a BMW pro). I am planing on getting a extended warranty on the car for next 5 years/100,000 miles (power train choice). So I am thinking it`ll take care for the big ticket items in the coming years.

Please help me decide if I should go ahead n make this deal. AGAIN, I have loved the car when I drove and saw it. Just can`t convince myself either way - Should I or Should I not!

Appreciate your help Bimmer bros!

maybe the owner travelled a lot highwaymiles with the car, seems normal to me.
I think it,s a bargain, take it with ext. warranty and be aware of everything you do not trust during his first year.

good luck with your choice and welcome to the club!

Thanks johndeever. That`s what the dealer told me about the miles. I`ll bring her home this friday and post some pics for you guys to look at.

My 15 year old daughter bought an '04 X3 as her first car and loves it. She says, "My car thinks it is a race car." I enjoy driving it as well, when she permits.
