Howling tire noise from m sport 19 inch wheels?

I have an 11' x3 with the 369 19 inch wheels. Tires are non run flat Goodyear eagle rsa2.

Tread is as follows:

Both fronts are about 7/32, one rear is 6/32, and the last rear is brand new.

I just changed that one rear and the noise was equal before/after.

They howl more at slow speeds, and less audible at highway speeds but still there.

What can it be? Just had alignment done too.

How far off was your alignment? If it was off substantially, and the tires are in fact cupped, the damage has already been done. I was considering a set of these as they are being blown out by tire rack, and the Caddy CTS owners really seem to like them.

Your tires should be all the same tread depth since it is an awd car which might mess up the transmission if your tires have different tread depths
