Climate Comfort Windscreen vs GPS reception?

Is the coating on this windscreen adverse to GPS reception in the cabin? I had another car with 'similar' tech that prevented completely to receive GPS on the tomtom... (metallic particle on the glass)

Here I want to use my Android/iOS phone as GPS -- anyone having both who can report?

GPS reception OK with my TomTom and also Google Android phone and/or Tablet so no worries.

I use a samsung note with google maps for gps.. works great. As an in car phone it is also fine. It is mounted in a clip mount in the drives side central vent grill. Can be positioned so it does not obstruct anything and is easy to see.

I also use the Torque app with bluetooth ECU connector for performance monitoring - it too works well - £15 for a connector.

I assume both the replies have the climate comfort windscreen? I've also heard there is an issue with the UV filter and GPS but never use GPS on devices in the car as I have nav built in. The CC windscreen is really good IMO but difficult to judge without spending sometime in a car without one. Also precludes you from getting HUD

Thanks for the replies so far guys.

And yes, the climate comfort windscreen comes as part of the 'climate comfort package' with the moonroof etc..

I do hope that GPS works, I use a nexus 7 for GPS, it's pretty awesome when you've cached most of the maps...
