My manual boot (or trunk) on my 2013 X3 won't open but the car warns me when I start the engine that it is open and there is a really bad rattle.

Also noticed this morning that my rear wiper and washers are not working, I assume related to the boot issue or maybe they don't work if the boot is open?

Anyone else had this issue?

My car will be going into the dealer later this week.

It may have not been fully closed. When that happens to me I can't manually get it opened by pressing on the trunk handle. So I will just use the remote trunk button to open and then press the button on the trunk to close it again.
