Are BMW wheels stamped with a size?
I picked up 4 307 style wheels that came off a 2013 X3. They have to be 18" because I'm sure they are not 19" and I don't believe that the X3's came with 17" wheels. You would think there would be something stamped on each wheel but I can't see it. Maybe it's in the back of one of the spokes but it's too dirty and can't see the metal. They sure as hell look like 307's so I'm not too concerned. Anyone know if the size's are stamped inside or some sort of designation?

If they are definitely 307's then they're 18"! I've got them on my X3. With Pirelli's. And the X3 did come with 17"s on 2011 28i's.

On the inside of the rim it will be stamped somewhere, typically on a spoke. Usually the offset is stamped too.

Thanks. the inside of the spokes are the only places where there's built up road dirt so I don't see the metal. if I get around to it I'll clean them with a power washer. here's the wheels. They are definitely 307's. |
