Soon I want to learn to code, but for now I just have a quick question (and want to upgrade to full status by posting this!).
Does an 2014 X3 with the August 2013 NBT update require any different coding software or data than what is presently available here? Thanks, Joel |

Hi Shawn,
Well after a few months and tons of research I'm now ready to do some coding on my new 2014 X3. Any chance I could get the link for the the E-sys software? |

coding software for 204 528i
Shawn- I too am looking for the most updated software and coding instructions. Could you email the link to me? Today I ordered my loaded Space Grey with Mocha interior and am looking forward to changing the parameters.
Thanks for your great insight and help. |

Newbie here! I have my SW loaded, waiting for bits to make my cable. I had my F10 coded by dealer after they changed the stop/start button. Now my video is only functioning on parking brake on. First job is to recode this.
Also I have an intermittently operating angel eye. Pretty sure its the module on rear of headlight. I've sourced a replacement AHL module from a breaker. Does anyone know how to code the replacement module? |

There may be some light calibration routine needed though, which would require ISTA/P or maybe INPA.

I am new to this forum. My issue is my front passenger side low beam was out (2007, 328i). It had the stock headlamp housing from Valeo. The headlamp was fine except that the wires were kind of exposed. I replaced the headlamp assembly with an aftermarket product. Still the front passenger side low beam will not turn on. So I think the issue is with my FRM. Is it possible that FRM had anticipated the short circuit in the stock headlamp assembly and cut off the power? SO it is still thinking I have the stock one?
Or it is possible that I need to replace my FRM. Sorry for my ignorance, but some questions come to my mind. 1) where is the FRM located? 2) How i check whether it is damaged or it just need to be recoded. 3) How do i do the recoding? 4) If i have to buy a new FRM, which model/part number should i get? Please help me |

Newbie to coding.
Seems everyone is having lots of fun with this "coding my X3"... so I figured I would like to have some of that fun also... if y'all dont mind. I know the answer is in one of the 746 post of this thread already.. but could someone be kind to tell in a few words (again, sorry) the items I will need (beside a laptop and the ethernet BMW cable).. Promise I will read the instruction before I post another question. |
