modding my x3

evening all, and thank you for accepting me to the forum.....

i currently have a x3 2.0d xdrive se auto 2012 and I'm after some ideas to making my x3 more my own, its got 112k on the clock with FBMWSH but still runs as if its new, I'm after standard items only no aftermarket stuff..

i use to drive vauxhalls so this is a big upgrade in fairness and still getting use the the beauty but love it..

any help will greatly be appreciated.....

Most bang for the buck, is probably black rims and black grill - if you like that kind of treatment....

For me, the best mod was to replace the single tail pipe with a twin. It was fitted by BMW and I think it transforms the look of the 20D.

Best mod (and only thus far) I've done is tinted my windows. Changes the appearance of the car completely!

g4gav: very simple, at end of message you hold the picture against the screen and press "CTRL" for 10 seconds!

Sorry! I could not resist Alternatively you go "Go Advanced" and follow instructions.

"After market" stuff coming from Vauxhall? Do you mean stripes and spoilers?

Regardless of what your car looks like, you have got suggestions:
-black grill and rims
-M Sport steering wheel
-dual endpipes: R/L ?
-tinted (rear) windows.
-I don't think you should buy "Euro mirrors", since I believe England is still in Europe.
-19" staggered (rear) wheels
-lower the vehicle

iv had subarus, nissan r33, vauxhall cavs - vecs - novas etc and always used standard parts or there own brands sports companies i.e: irmscher etc..... its cost a lot more yes but at least it looks better.....

iv just never had a thing for after market things.....

but yes steering wheel will be nice but I'm also looking at getting a wheel made up with a flat bottom on it, i done the same to my vectra so that was a custom item not after market. :thump:

not really into the lowering thing, but 19,s staggered sound good !!!!!

the black lung grills are something i have been looking at also.
