Unfortunately they are completely different engines to our X3s. Btw, I have picked up our 30d and it isn't half bad. Could always do with more power though.

The Evoque is the only other car I've considered but in reality the X3 is a much better fit for me. Agreed, I hope this X3 35d comes into existence!!

This is one of the reasons I've held off ordering the 30d for now in hopes BMW will release the 35d. The X3 35d is the perfect solution for me...

BMW Australia confirmed yesterday that they are not planning to bring the 35d just like they are not bringing in the 35ias it encroaches into the more profitable X5. Maybe this will change when the new X5 comes out in 2013 and moves more upmarket. In any case, the 30d is quick due to the torque. Go test drive one, slot it into sports mode and you won't look back.

BMW told me the exact same reason when I proposed this question to them about 2 months ago. I know the 30d will blow me away but if there is a 35d available not long after it would kill me.

If I get a 35d I plan to add one of these babies to it...

I know I could flash tune the 30d but this is so much easier!

BMW86?

Just did a double take on your avatar... Is the model available for a photo shoot? My Z4 could benefit from some draping.

I must be getting old, and perhaps close to death. I only saw the car in the sig, not the woman in the avatar. Fortunately, my X3 hit Production status today, so I may get to drive it before I die... And I do appreciate the pics in your garage!
