Front License Plate Mount

For those with the required front license plate, how is the plate mount attached to the bumper? Is it like my Z4 and E46 that just screw into the front of the bumper? My X3 is on order and I want to be prepared to tell the dealer not to install the factory mount and I will order up one of the "hidden" type mounts.

yep screw mount....I was looking and not sure there is any way to get the hidden type in there...I was considering not running with a front plate (NJ) but figured that's just rolling the dice of tickets...no need for that!

There are two small slots cut into the bottom of the bumper. Black frame has two tabs. Insert tabs into slots then screw into bumper.
