Connecting 2 phones

At first I could get both my phones (iPhone 4 and BB pearl) to connect via Bluetooth at the same time.

It seems to have stopped working in that if I try connect a second one the first is disconnected. I cannot find that I have an additional phone option. I am sure both connected when I first got my car.

Anyone else had this problem ?

Did you managed to really get both connected at the same time as a phone or is one connected as a phone and the other as bluetooth media audio (streaming music)?

If you really had two connected at the same time as phones, then how does the car know which to answer or to dial via?

Just looked in the book and it seems this function is only available with the pro nav. The additional second phone receives calls and calls are made with the first phone.

I am sure before my BMW assist was activated that both my phones connected at the same time. I have the business nav system not pro.

cool, I'm going to try this on mine. I thought about it and it would be a useful feature to be able to support two phones incoming.

Yes, you can connect two phones simultaneously, but only one can be the "primary" phone, able to send and recieve calls. The "secondary" phone can receive only. Still, very handy, especially if on a long drive with two people. It is easy to switch the primary and secondary at any time also.
