Car won't go when you step on the gas

Car barely moves. Maybe goes 10-15km/hr max with the gas pedal pushed all the way down. Engine does not rev or nothing. Put the car back into park and restart it. The problem goes away. Has happened 3x times already and it is randomly. So far this does not happen when driving along (thank god!) Anyone encountered this before? No CEL or nothing. Can they still pull the codes if no light? Going into dealer for diagnosis next week.
