X3 2015 M Sport Winter set up

Hi Guys.

I have just put on my winter wheels. I know that this combination is quite rare, so I thought I post some pictures. Its a X3 2015 LCI 3.0 D Black Sapphire with M sport and 309 19" winter alloys. I'm really satisfied with the combo.

Please tell me what you think

Cheers

it looks really nice. what tires are you running for winter?

are you planning on swapping out to perf summer when the time comes?

i thought about doing something similar (winter setup, summer setup) but decided on just getting 20s w/all-seasons.

This is only for winter season (around 5 months in Sweden).

The tires are Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D, 245/45R19 102V XL on all 4 wheels.

On summer I have the 310M wheels. See attached pic.

I'm biased but I think the 309 wheels are better looking than the M Line standard wheels.

gc3: I really prefer the 20". They look ten times better IRL. Love the bicolor design.

drodnyc: 309 in 20" would be really nice! But then you really need the staggered version with at least 275 on the rear.

cSurf: Cool - I'm not 100 % sure about black alloys. I guess it's handy during the winter though.

As I've wrote in another topic I'm thinking of adding 10 mm spacers on the winter set up. I think it would make it look a bit more aggressive.

These wheels carried the design of my '11 X3. Without them, the car looked knobby and dull.

I'm in the process of getting my OEM goodyear (crap) replaced with Pirelli winter sottozero 3's. I'm just mounting to the stock wheels.. Come spring when I'm shopping for summer shoes (probably P-zeros) I may get a new set of wheels but will probably wind up dismounting my winters and putting summers on the same wheels. I like the standard wheels (forget the number - the stock pre lci M Sport rims)
