BMW 310m wheel authenticity question
Hello,
I am hoping someone here can help me out (I did a quick search in past threads however I could not find anyone who has posted my question). I am looking to purchase a second hand set of 20" 310M wheels for my F25. I know there are a lot of knock-offs floating around in the market and am concerned I will fall prey to such a set. I have been told these 310M wheels are real, and while I don't have reason to suspect the seller is lying, I also have no reason to believe he's telling me the truth. He has provided me with the following info from one of the rims at my request: 5 787 582-13 Borbet bm197 Bmw is38 8 1/2Jx20EH2 My questions is, can I use any of this information to verify the authenticity of the rims? Many thanks for any help, Dave |

In order:
Part Number OEM Manufacturer (Borbet is well known) Offset Size Make your own judgement, if you can use it to check the authenticity of the wheels. |

Generally the BMW part number isn't stamped on a fake wheel, if it has 787 582 stamped on it, then I'd say your good.
