How long does it take dealer to give us VIN #? CANADA

We ordered and deposited last Monday, no news yet about the VIN, my insurance company needs it. Also another question is the finance, we will put 20k down and 5 years finance, we can pay off any time without penalty right? It says "Implicit Finance Charge $5590", that's over 5 years, if we decide to pay back early, do we have to pay that amount fully?

thanks

I gave mine the day before. I was pretty happy to see that insuring the X3 was significantly cheaper than my Cooper S.

We just switched over in April and I picked up my X3 35i last week. Just have to call in a couple of days prior to pick up and you will be fine.

Sorry to ask, but what does TD MM stand for. I may want to look into their insurance also. Thanks!

Interesting experience with the TDInsurance:
They offered me an excellent quote with my home insurance some time ago. The quote clearly contained insurance for X3, 2 drivers (me and my wife), and me a the main driver because she confirmed on the phone WHILE I EXPLICITLY asked, "since I have a company car, wouldn't it make a difference who is the primary driver for the X3?" and she replied "absolutely not, we'll hook you up with the cheaper one which isyourself!".
Now, since my home insurance hadto start a week earlier, I told the lady "I am going to start the home insurance now and call you guys back on the auto as soon as I have a clear delivery date on my car".
So one day before picking up my X3 I call them to set up my auto insurance...
they tell me "there has been a mistake! we quoted you assuming that you are insuring 2 cars!!! because you had ma 2 quotes, and that is why the system gave you an extra discount!!!" Can you believe that???
And there actual price went up by 20%-30% ($400 more). So I say I want to speak with your manager. No boy calls back! So I still see tht their price i lower compared to the rest and I need it by the next day, so I give them call back (speaking to another person, going through the whole thing all over again),and then it gets better, so I said "let's do it", and then she comes up with another good one: "I'm sorry, but I do not see your wife as the 2nd driver in the quote!!!" I say "what??? I have the quote in front of me, and my wife is in it!!! your colleague last week gave me the price (though lower) but considering bothdirvers". So he gives me a price that goes higher!!!, then I still say, "are you done? let's do it", and you know what? she says, "oops, I'm sorry, but this price is based on you being the main driver, and since you have a company car, you can't be the main driver on both cars, so we have to change your wife to the main driver of the X3...and ooops, the price just went up again!"
I thought I was drunk or something!!! So I said this is ridiculous, I want to speak with you manager... NO BODY CALLS BACK AFTER 12 hours!!! and I had to have my insurance the next day...
So I call again, ofocurse it is a call center and somebody else picks up the phone everytime and you have to go through the whole thing from scratch...(by the way, as for the first paragraph, that communication was already with 3-4 different operators within 3-4 different phone attempts!)
so this lady says, there is difference with who the main driver is, then I selected myself as the one, signed the deal and had the last price increase leveraged...
...and I'm still recovering from that incident since then...
