Cable is not an expensive item, if you really want to share something, share car with him.

I was able to code my car thanks to April 1's help, not only he sold me a great cable and software key, but he was a great support by email too.
If anyone In Montreal or surrounding area or even willing to drive we can setup a group coding date Preferably with your own laptops and software installed.

I have cable, laptop and E-Sys software to code any BMW FXX. I live in Montreal West-Island and work Downtown.

I have coded and experimented a lot with my 2011 BMW F10 550i. Here are a few examples, I can share my cheat sheet if you need it!


• Automatic High beam
• Enable VIM (Video-In-Motion)
• HUD Turn Signals
• Remove NAV Startup Disclaimer
• Remove PDC & Sideview Camera Disclaimer
• Remove Night Vision Camera Disclaimer
• Close Trunk from Inside Button
• Close Trunk from FOB
• Replace "Surround" On/Off checkbox with "L7 Surround" Slider (-5/+5) on Settings=>Tone screen
• Fold Mirrors from Comfort Access (Door Handle)
• Fold Mirrors from FOB
• Close Windows and Moon Roof from Comfort Access (Door Handle)
• Close Windows and Moon Roof from FOB
• Disable Driver and Passenger Seat Belt Reminders
• Disable Driver and Passenger Seat Disconnect Reminders
• Disable Driver and Passenger Dashboard Seat Status Displays
• Disable Front and Rear Window Disruption - (keep closing when door is opened)
• Unlock Doors on Single Push of Start/Stop Button (allows single pull of door handle to exit)
• Enable Efficient Dynamic Sport CID (Power & Torque Meters)
• Always Remember Air Recirculating

I have not tired it yet! By Auxiliairy lights you mean which ones? The fog lights?

I mean the orange lights at the extremities of our headlamps, the ones that come in with the parking lights on and also used as flashers
