Mikesmith2939 Second Lieutenant 54 Rep 297 Posts Drives: 2013 320i xdrive Join Date: Jul 2015 Location: UK iTrader: (0)	Fuel consumption on 2007 X3 2.0 diesel Since blanking off the swirl flaps and having a new glow plug controller along with new glow plugs fitted my fuel consumption has got worse. I have lost about 4 mpg on a long steady run and about 6 mpg on on shorter mixed driving. Also I the new glow plug controller seems to have stopped working.
