I picked up my new V. Red X3 last night. I can finally stop agonizing over the wait and have fun driving my new X3.
V Red 35i, black interior with wave wood
premium, sport, tech, dhp
mixed perf tires
perm and sat radio.

It's a great car. My 17 son is really happy too because he now gets the 2003 530i. I've included pix. I parked next to an earlier X3 and thought that would be good to show.

KevinG - congrats on the new 35i. Looks great, but of course I have exactly the same color combo as you, but with a MSport pkg added.

Enjoy it - it's a great car.

If you're asking about comparing this to the e39, I'm still thrilled by the e39. it's always been terrific all around. I drove the new gen 535 and don't think it compares to the feel and sense of performance. The e39 is just a great car. Don't know yet how the F25 compares yet to the 530. And I've never driven an e83 x3.
