Pic of new X3-3.5 & My Remote App Works!

'11 X3 3.5, Tech, Sport, Premium Packages + Premium Audio & Smartphone/Apps.

Got the My Remote App to work by signing into the App Store within iTunes with a UK address. Followed these directions: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht2534

App version: 1.0.3/1.9.1. All features seem to work - Find car, beep horn, lock/unlock, flash lights, google "send to car" - though there is considerable delay. It took up to 2 minutes to verify that the app had unlocked the car. About 1.5 minutes to beep the horn.

The "find the car" feature of the Remote App won't confirm the location if the car is powered up or the ignition is on. Says "ignition is on....no display for privacy reasons".

I didn't buy the iPhone 4.0 snap-in cradle yet so I don't have feedback yet for Plug-in or Ipod-Out apps, but the facebook app......eh, sorta cool via the connected app + white cable.

Great looking X3! Thanks for the iknformation and instructions. Not sure if I'll bother with the UK app version, or just wait for a US version... but good to have the option. I should have the iPhone 4 cradle and my new iPhone by the end of this week, so I'll have some playing to do.

this is exactly the car that i've ordered. v red is a great color. can you take more pictures? maybe in direct sunlight?

Hi, can I ask you something about my bmw app, I have the app in my iphone now, but doesn't woorrrkkkkkk, I called to the bmw I have my password, I think I putted a hundred times but doesn't work, I put upper case, lower case,what else I have to do. tahks

Does the "climate" option show up in your iPhone? It does not on mine.

1) At the dealer, the sales person and I entered my name & pw into BMW Assist system.
2) When i took delivery, i hit SOS and enrolled into that program with the SOS live-rep. I then created a PIN with the SOS representative.
3) During the My BMW Remote app installation process, it asked me both if I recall. At that point it connected and has been working since.

Zlee11: No, i don't see the climate tab on this version of the app.

Have you tried to 'reset' the remote app? That is, when you start the app, you should see an "i" on the right corner of the screen, click that (you have to be quick), then an option to 'reset the application' appears. Choose that and it should ask you input all the info again. I read somewhere online that resetting the app helps if the password is changed with BMW Assist...

You have to reset the app if you change your password. The app saves a PIN so you don't need to type your password each time you use it. If your BMW Assist password changes, the app won't work until you reset it
