JUST BEEN INFORMED THAT THE CAR HAS ARRIVED AT THE DEALERSHIP!!!
WILL BE PICKING IT UP TOMORROW EVENING!!!

Why does it take your dealers so long to "prep" the car. My car arrived at the dealer around 11AM and was told I could pick it up at 1PM(granted I couldn't pick it up till 4pm)

Very unlikely that an X3 can be ready in 2 hours.

My CA told me that it takes at least 4 hours to program the car software.

Cleaning/washing/making sure that everything is ok (not every dealer does that) takes another 1-2 hours.

Also, your car is not the only they received that day

It was only after a bit of pressure that I got mine within 30hrs!
They initially said 6 days (included bank holiday weekend)

It was the first 30d in the area so I guess they might have wanted friends over to see
