x3 2.0i xdrive 2014 fuel consumption

Hello,

Is there owners of f25 with the engine 2.0i xdrive? My car fuel consumption in the city 15-17L, 11-13L on the big road. I told about this to bmw service, and they told that engine is new and around 20k fuel consumption will drop. For a moment it already 21k and car has same fuel consuption
I called bmw again, they made computer test and said that car road trip is around 20-30 minutes a day , so thats why fuel consumption is so big. Is it ok? or is it some kind of engine issue?
My wife use this car for taking kid to school, check her office and shopping.

P.S I have f15 3.0d its bigger and heavier, but eats much more less fuel

Thanks

In the old days, I would have asked you if your wife will pull out the choke and hang her handbag, but since chokes are no more......

I suggest you drive her car for a couple of days and check the fuel consumption.
