Lexani tires

Saw some Lexani tires for sale on a website. Brand new, set of 4 being sold from a tire store for 400 bucks. Anyone have any experience with their tires?

Never heard of them, and wouldn't use either. If you have a BMW, stick some proper rubber on it, no ditchfinders :-)

Lexani is a 20 year old Wheel company that started selling tires more recently. I think they have their tires made for them by Korea's Nexen Tire.

Trying to decide if I'm keeping it 12 months or 60 months. That'll make the decision for me pretty much. LOL

Even 12 months ownership my friend - be safe, not sorry. The 4 contact points are what keep you on the road. My point was buy premium or midrange tyres, but not el cheapo ones that may lose grip in a moment of need :-)

Who cares how much the tires cost? Lexani is new to the tire market. They aren't going to start off charging 500 a tire.

As has been said - tyres are THE single most important part of any vehicle anyone with a passing interest in F1 would know that. Cheap tyres may well be fine - but given the level of discussion on tyres generally the sound advice would be go for something you know - and have some comeback on if you need too.

A quick look at the only supplier website in UK shows that they are not recommended by BMW - so avoid.

Price usually gives some idea of quality and the market they are trying to attract. Joe in his 1.1i or Josè in his performance car

They offer pretty good tires for the money. I ride the LX 20s.

despite the fact this thread is from 2016, lexani is not new. Got lexani on my car in 2005, and I can't tell if back then it was new or not.

Ive use lexani on track only, N3000 were very very cheap, and the performance for a heavy car on a hot track day was very impressive. Also the treadwear was great.

On the internet I only saw bad stuff about those tire from NON-user, and quiet nice review from users. I saw few 911 with N3000...

yes those are considering like cheap ass tires, but if they pass the securuty test it shouldn't be that bad. right?
This has been said, lexani performance tire are not a thing anymore, n3000 are discontinued, and I have enough budget now to get some real tires.

x3 is on extreme contact DWS06 and summer/track on indy500.

Lexani LX-Twenty's are bad ass...I'm sporting them on my 535i. I chose them over Michelins and Pirelli. The latter ones are jiust to expensive.
